All Night Party - Organizes a lock-in party for seniors the night of commencements. Puts together a committee of people to arrange food, decorations, donations, prices, etc.
Blood Drive - Arranges volunteers to work on-site where drive is being held, sign-ups volunteers to give blood, sends reminders and hangs posters announcing the drive (fall and spring).
Craft Show - Coordinates and registers crafters, sets up booth space, coordinates refreshments, etc.
Corresponding Secretary - Handles all incoming and outgoing correspondence. Sends thank-yous, notes, flowers, etc. when needed.
Council Delegate - Represents Royal Oak High School at the council level (budget approval and election of officers meetings are mandatory).
Exam Snacks - Prepares snacks at exams in January by getting donations from parents, purchasing muffins, bagels and juice and gathers volunteers to help (3 days).
Grounds Beautification - Keeps the grounds around the looking beautiful by pulling weeds, planting new flowers, etc.
Historian - Gathers and preserves historical facts, pictures, etc. of the school for the year.
Hospitality - Sets-up munchies and coffee for PTSA meetings, makes phone calls for donations for Parent/Teacher Conferences, Exam Snacks and Senior Breakfast.
Legislative - Keeps up on what is happening and reports to the PTSA on any Legislative activities that may affect school, children or related items.
Member(s)-at-Large - Assists President with various duties and responsibilities, especially with updating the by-laws. Is usually a person with a large amount of experience with the PTSA.
Membership - Sells PTSA memberships to parents, students, teachers, etc., records the sales and gives money and list of names to treasurer, fills out and distributes cards and sends out student directories to paid members.
Parent Guide - Updates the information in the Royal Oak High School Parent Guide; has copies made for new incoming 9th grade parents.
President - Presides at all PTSA meetings, is a member of all committees (except nominating committee), coordinates the officers and committees to promote the objects of the PTSA.

Raven Rally - Is held before the first home football game in September.
Recording Secretary - Takes meeting minutes, types them and has them ready to be read at the next PTSA meeting.
Reflections - This is a competition for students in various categories (video, literature, visual art, photography, etc. You will be responsible for advertising the competition and gathering entries. After they are gathered, you may need to set up judging. This is a great job for someone who wants a position with a definite start and end.
Scholarship - Gathers student scholarship applications, forms a committee to review them and selects 3-6 senior winners each.
Senior Breakfast - Organizes food and volunteers to cook and serve breakfast to the seniors about 1 to 2 weeks prior to graduation. At this time they also view the Senior video.
Staff Appreciation - Put on a breakfast or lunch for the staff of the school in May.
Student Directory - Gather student information, type and put together directory and send out to have copies made.
Student Representative - A selected student from Student Government attends PTSA meetings and keeps us up-to-date on student activities.
Teacher Vice President - A selected teacher each year attend PTSA meetings on behalf of the Royal Oak High School staff and reports upcoming events and keeps us up-to-date on academic issues.
Treasurer - Facilitates, tracks and reports all PTSA expenditures and income. Please use this Reimbursement Form to request funds.
Traffic - With no busing we are organizing a website to help with traffic. You could help too!
