Hello to all of you.
During the last several weeks and months I have been busy with phone calls, e-mails and personal visits to spread the news about the
National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy May 5th, 2010
I believe it to be an important issue that affects 100% of our young people and I know that parents should to take an active role in this.
How could you help?
- If you like to make personal contacts:
Have been visiting a lot of organizations and business to help in publicizing and possibly providing small tokens for our students as incentives.
- If you can make phone calls:
- If you like to be at the school:
The Quiz will be live on May 5th (till the end of May) at: www.StayTeen.org
I understand if you can not make time and I will not judge anyone because of it. If you know someone that might be interested please let me know. And as always please let me know if you do not wish to receive e-mails of this kind.

Free Drug Testing Kits
If you are concerned your child may be involved with illegal substances, you are not alone. Many parents have experienced this same situation. In an effort to assist you in addressing your concerns, The Royal Oak Save Our Youth Task Force, in cooperation with the YMCA, is offering free drug testing kits and additional information to you. These kits may be picked up at the front desk of the YMCA, located on 11 Mile Road, just East of Woodward.

The Challenge Day program is designed for student's grade 7-12. The program is created to build connection and empathy, and to fulfill the vision that every child lives in a world where they feel safe, loved, and celebrated. Find out more at: www.challengeday.org
As always, never hesitate to contact your student's teacher or counselor with any concerns or questions. (http://www.royaloakschools.com/portal/roms/directory)
