Banquet/ROX Concert Rehearsal - May 7th is the choir banquet followed by dress rehearsal for the ROX concert. Attendance is mandatory for the rehearsal and strongly encouraged for the banquet. Dinner will be provided by TEMPO. The new 2007-2008 choir officers and members of Chamber Singers will be announced and parents of new inductees will be notified so they will have a chance to be present for the announcements! (Any parent is welcome to attend, but dinner is provided only for students).
ROX Concert - Donations for the afterglows and parent volunteers to set up and clean up, flower, concession and ticket sales and back stage security are being organized by our choir representatives. Please save them a call if you are able to help by emailing or calling them ASAP!
The State Choral Festival on April 25th A’Cappella and Women’s Ensemble attended the state choral festival and performed admirably – only two choirs at the festival received a I rating – A’Cappella had a very respectable rating of II and Women’s Ensemble received a rating of III. Mrs. Buffa and her choirs have put ROHS Choirs on the map in their very first year and we should all be very proud of their achievements!
State Solo/Ensemble Festival - Several soloists and ensembles attended the State Solo/Ensemble festival and performed at all levels from intermediate to advanced. Congratulations to all that not only made it to the state level, but set the standard for future festivals!
Note to Seniors Parents
Any seniors (without siblings in the choir program) will want to clear out their student’s account before the end of the school year. TEMPO treasurer Kathy Christensen has mailed statements to all senior parents – please contact her or Mrs. Buffa if you have any questions. Any funds not claimed will revert to the choir’s general fund.
