Registration Schedule - with the high school closed, please go to Oakland Elementary.

  • Seniors - Monday, August 13th: A-L 8:30a to10:45am and M-Z at 12:30pm to 3:00pm.
  • Juniors - Tuesday, August 14th: A-L 8:30a to10:45am and M-Z at 12:30pm to 3:00pm.
  • Freshmen - Wednesday, August 15th: A-L 8:30a to10:45am and M-Z at 12:30pm to 3:00pm.
  • Sophomores - Thursday, August 16th: A-L 8:30a to10:45am and M-Z at 12:30pm to 3:00pm.

Congratulations to the ROHS Drama Club for finishing in third place at the Regionals in Ann Arbor on February 10th. Awesome job! - Michael Kaufman, Drama Club Sponsor

There are 2 portable classrooms containing four classrooms located on the north side of the school building. These portables will be used to house classes displaced due to the ongoing construction.

The Royal Oak Model UN’s high school team earned honors recently at the UofM MUN conference in Ann Arbor, including a second place for the team overall. - Steve Chisnell, MUN Sponsor

From the ROHS Student Council: numerous school projects have been orgranized and council members have volunteered close to 400 hours for the community. The Jnauary 30th blood drive resulted in 88 pints of blood donated. The Cupid’s Crush Dance was held February 10th. The Volleyball Marathon is slated for March 16th to 17th. Proceeds benefit the Children’s Miracle Network. Elections for next year are underway.

The ROHS Dance Team competed in Nationals the 1st weekend in February.

The ROHS FIRST Robotics Team is busy putting the finishing touches on their robot. They will be competing in two regional competitions and the National Competition. Ask a Robotics team member how to play Rock and Roll.

February 2006 - Todd Noonan is now Attendance Officer.

As of 1/1/2007 - Michael Greening is now Interim Principal and Angela Ashburn is Interim Asst. Principal.

As of 10/27/06, Sam Lynch is now of the two ROHS Assistant Principals along with Mike Greening and Carolyn Krynak is a half-time Assistant Principal and also Athletic Director.

The floor in the gymnasium has been finished and looks spectacular.

Upgrades to the Stadium are at or near completion: new bathrooms, fresh paint, concrete repair and the concession stand. The complete renovation is running on a two year schedule - your patience throughout this time is greatly appreciated.

    • B Lunch - class 10:42-11:10 / lunch 11:10-11:45 / class 11:50-12:18
    • C Lunch - class 10:42-11:38 / lunch 11:43-12:18
  • Period 5 - 12:23pm - 1:19pm
