ROHS Marching Band Parents:

On Saturday, October 27, 2007, the ROHS Marching Band will participate in the Durand Band Invitational held at Durand High School. The contest will begin at 1:50pm and includes 27 bands. The contest will end around 9:30pm. We will not be staying for the entire show. We will leave following our awards ceremony. If students plan on staying or leaving early with parents, please send a note before Saturday.

Adult tickets for the show will be sold by Mr. Foreman during the week. Tickets are $6 each and the proceeds helps repays the $150 entry fee, so please purchase here first before you go. If paying by check, please make it payable to Royal Oak band and Orchestra Boosters.

The following is the time schedule for Saturday:

• 10:45am- Load Buses/Trucks
• 11:15-  Depart for Durand
• 12:45-  Arrive at Durand, unload, go to homerooms, change into uniforms
• 1:15- Warm-up
• 2:10- Report to gate
• 2:15- Performance
• 3:15- watch remaining Flights I, II, and III. Dinner on own.
• 6:15- Award Ceremonies for Flights I, II and II.
• 7:00-  Load buses and leave for ROHS
• 8:15- Arrive back at ROHS

Don’t forget to eat lunch before you come Bring money for dinner as well.

*** Student staking the ACT: please let Mr. Foreman know immediately that you are taking the exam. Parents: HELP!!! We need a couple of drivers who can quickly and safely get students from the exam to Durand for the performance.***
