ROHS Marching Band Parents:

On Saturday, October 20, 2007, the ROHS Marching Band will participate in the Clarkston Invitational held at Clarkston High School. This is a huge show with 30 bands competing, 10 in our Flight (Flight I). The contest will begin at 12:15pm. Our Flight begins at 7:00pm.

The following is the time schedule for Saturday:

• 1:00- Rehearsal (eat lunch before you arrive)
• 3:30-  Change into uniform for pictures
• 4:45- Load truck
• 5:00- Load Buses
• 5:15-  Depart for Clarkston
• 5:45-  Arrive at Clarkston, unload truck, go to homerooms
• 6:30- Warm-up
• 7:25- Report to gate
• 7:30- Performance
• 7:45- Change out of uniforms, eat dinner, watch remaining bands
• 10:00- Award Ceremonies for Flights I and II
• 10:30-  Load buses and leave for ROHS
• 11:00- Arrive back to ROHS

Students may want to bring a snack for the bus as we will not have time to eat until after the performance. Bring money for dinner as well.

Photos will be taken by Lifetouch before we leave for the competition. Full band, section and individual pictures will be available from Lifetouch. Pricing information will be available soon.

Tickets for the competition are available for $6 each. If paying by check, please make it payable to Royal Oak band and Orchestra Boosters. The sale of the tickets repays our entry fee, so please purchase here first before you go.
